• Tablet stops responding when Rust is launched

As the title says. The tablet itself (Huion 580) works fine. But once I click Rust and the pre-launch menu opens, it outright refuses to respond anymore until I close out. Is there some form of work around for this?
I don't think Rust supports being played on drawing tablets yet. Have you tried using a regular monitor? Also, what are your other system stats? CPU, RAM, GPU.
By regular monitor, you just mean the display? Just a basic 1080 LCD monitor. CPU: i5-3570k RAM: 8GB DDR3 GPU: GTX 660
Okay, I misunderstood the question, or rather, the functionality of the tablet and how you were using it, slightly. My bad. Are you using the tablet as an input device? Because I'm not sure that's supported; however, just from the specs, your computer should be able to run the game, so it's either trying to use the tablet to play Rust (which is what I think you're trying to do?) is causing it to freak the fuck out, or there's a regular kind of technical problem/bug and you just happen to have an unusual choice in input devices. Try playing with keyboard and mouse (with your tablet disconnected if necessary). If that doesn't work, what version are your Nvidia drivers?
No, no. It's a drawing tablet. I was going to use it to draw on the signs. But the moment Rust launches, the Tablet stops responding to any input and won't be usable until I close Rust.

Yeah if it's emulating mouse input, I'd say it's being disabled.
I have a Bamboo tablet, and it stops working while Rust is running as well. I suspect it's what dustNbone said.

Yeah, mine stops working completely until I actually reboot my computer. Can't run it at all if I've run Rust while it was connected.
Yea. That's what I suspected afterwards; EAC. I suspected it to just be Unity at first. But I ran a few other Unity games that didn't have EAC and it ran fine.
Yeah if it's emulating mouse input, I'd say it's being disabled.
I mean, I don't know if what I did was the same but I connected my phone to my computer using some software and it allowed me to use my phone to move my cursor, and I was able to use rust. So I basically turned my phone into a drawing pad, and was connected to my computer via wifi.
Anyone know of a way to bypass this? Aside from the phone. Seems to just be a global EAC issue itself since I can't use a tablet with RoK running, either.
Only thing I can suggest is disconnecting your regular mouse so that the tablet is the only pointing device active when the game is launched. You may also need to change the mode that the tablet operates to provide real mouse emulation. Not sure how practical playing Rust with a tablet as your sole pointing device will be, but you should be able to make it work as well as it can.

Seems to still refuse detection even if the tablet is the only input device.
You need to go into the tablets options menu and turn off Use Windows Ink, this is the same thing you have to do when your using Wacom Intuos tablets because that's how i got mine to work, now i dont know about your kind of tablet but i would suggest looking into its options menu and find the Use Windows Ink option and turn it off. It might be called Pen Mode. If you cant find it in the menu try and see if there is updated drivers for your tablet just in case the option was included.
I use a Huion Tablet which doesn't seem to have Windows Ink.
Try the windows > All Programs > Accessories > Tablet PC > Tablet PC Input Panel or Pen and Input Devices. It may not be known as windows ink.
Couldn't find anything related to Windows Ink in that menu. Although, I did notice something. I decided to disconnect both my mouse and keyboard (Both Razer, so software is used). After doing so with the Rust pre-launch menu up, I tried to see if the tablet would work. No dice. So, decided to hook it back up only to find out Rust(EAC) refused to let them connect back to Windows until it was closed.
