They said that there making a new character model. So what do you think how it will look like and how you would like it to look like?.. Personally showing the private spots on the model is cool , because it looks like your a noob and your new and trying to survive for cloths, but in the same time if my dad sees this on my screen and playing on a half nudity game he will get really pissed at me. So it will be nice if they add an option on the menu screen to either blur the private areas or atleast seeing people wearing an underwear I guess lol and they still get an option to show these private spots so it's like one and one win. So who ever doesn't like seeing these nudity areas they got an option to blur it or see underweares instead lol and if people don't like it blurred they still have an option to see this nudity. So it seems fair for everyone. I don't see why you should disagree on this. I'm 16 years old, but my dad will get very pissed if he sees me watching this. Probably my family also you know , like they see me watching naked dudes everywhere it will be akward if my family sees me playing this lol.

The naked cavemen add to the atmosphere and should be there but they should give us a option in the menu to blur it out for all the kiddies playing this game.
For all those who are disagreeing , I don't see why you should disagree on this. It's an option , you can still have your private spots showing if you want.. You can turn blur on or off or underwears lol.
Do you like your kids watching naked dudes everywhere? It's kind of sad.

there is an option for pants (nudity censor) but imo i dont think this game is for "kiddies"
not saying your kids are playing actually playing it.
also how much time is spent staring at other players junk?
i only have my nudity filter off to tell if the guy is truly naked but a quick glance (at distance) tells me so. 90% of the time they are so far away you cant even make out that thing they call a "penis"

I think you can disable it server-sided. At least we went on a server where it was off by default.
I like this as an option simply for those looking to make videos might be able to do creative things with it. An addition, rather than [U]the[/U] only option.

It's a shame garry had to put the censor in anyways, originally he never wanted one but the steam screenshots sections was getting spammed with naked men.

I'm pretty sure that garry implemented the censor [B]for[/B] the Steam launch, not afterwards, and made it clear that Steam would delete any uncensored dick screenshots uploaded to the Community.

Also, [B]there used to be a blur effect[/B] but it could be seen through walls and was taken advantage of, which is why the devs opted to default to a generic pair of pants...
they should never have an option to censor it. we're in the 21st century, there's nothing wrong with showing a naked dude. what harm could it do?

I could understand if you don't want to see the nudity, but your kids seeing a non sexualized depiction of a nude male is bad, but the violence is ok? Tell me more about how you are a bad parent.
How about not playing a game that will surely be rated M for Mature when your kids are around?

No. Why? Its something games don't do these days. Not to mention the game is rated M, there is going to be some form of inappropriate content.There's an option to censor already as stated before and if you are that worried about your kids/parents seeing it then you can censor before/while joining a server. Can't do it before/while joining? Look down at ground, open console and disable it. BAM, problem solved.
Should they add an option in the setting menu? Yes.
Should nudity be removed completely? No.
I always chuckle a bit at the whole my kids can slaughter animals and murder people but can't see a naked model...
