Just a quick question. How long do buildings last? do wood and metal structures last the same amount of time? if there is any limit at all
I've searched the playrustwik.com, and it said wood walls despawn after 5 days. is this true? is there no way to stop the walls from despawning? I'm not really sure if this information is accurate or recent.
If anyone could please explain exactly how building mechanics work, I would appreciate it.
as i know building decay when noone live in. also everything else like boxes decay but faster. u can repair ur building and anything else with essential craft resource, like wooden door can be repaired with wood in ur hotkey.
Decay timers:
8 Hours: Wooden shack
1 Day: Wooden structures
4 Days: Metal structures.
Note: opening doors and starting fires inside the structure will reset the timer, there is also a 24 hr. grace period after building before the timer starts.
