I don't know about the rest of you, but I have ran into this problem a lot. Because of my 200 hours on Rust, 560 hours on CSS, and 300 hours on TF2 (all similar games in terms of the 'FPS-made-by-Valve', mind you) I am thought to be a hacker. I have been banned from multiple servers after having spent hours farming, killing, etc. I try saying, "Cheatpunch is in effect, as well as VAC- check my steam account", but it is to no avail. I know there probably can't be anything that's done, but god da**- why do all these adolescents think that I hack? The game is not hard...
So, how about the rest of you- have you ran into this problem?
Just laugh like the rest of us do, let their tears fill up on your happiness.
stream your games.
I got this problem the first time I killed someone.
And the second.
And the third.
And nearly the fourth.
You just have to make sure you are reasonable about it - don't stick with the communities that can't take someone who is too good for them, I must admit I have accused people of hacks because they just owned me to an extend I could not understand the possibilities.
If you can, record your gameplay, if not, find somewhere with good players who understand.

Well first off, "I've played CSS/TF2 so I'm really good and that's why everyone thinks I'm a hacker." is a seriously played out argument and I've heard it used (hilariously) by more cheaters than I can count. I'm not saying you're a cheater, just saying that's a common argument you should probably avoid because no one is going to nod their head and say, "Oh, you've played CSS? Well, that explains it."
As far as being banned from numerous servers as you claim, can't really comment on that. I'm not you, I'm not the server admins that banned you and I wasn't there.
That said, Cheatpunch and VAC don't catch everything and what they do catch isn't immediate either usually. So, your "I'm not Cheatpunch/VAC banned" argument probably won't help you if someone 1. doesn't like you or 2. honestly thinks you're cheating.
Players or admins who suspect you of cheating will normally check to see if you've been VAC banned and may do a quick google too to see if your name turns up on any cheating sites or ban lists in other games, which yours does happen to show up on a forum board dedicated to cheating and duping in Borderlands 2, which some admins may take as further proof legitimizing banning you from their server.

"Proof" videos and streaming your gameplay doesn't prove that you aren't a cheater. It can sometimes prove that other players are just massively lacking in situational awareness but it's never definite proof that you're not cheating.
It's funny how few people seem to realize this, but most game hacks and pretty much all the "VIP" and paid subscription hacks are made specifically to draw on separate graphic layers from the game (i.e. overlay) so they do not show up when recording youtube, twitch streams, etc. Youtube/Twitch "Safe" is a commonly advertised feature in most of these online game cheats.
I've seen countless players who created all these proof videos to show they weren't hacking and in the end they got caught red-handed and everyone was liek...ZOMG! Shocked! because they had proof videos...that were like...um...PROOF!
Nope, they aren't.
IGotWorms - what you are trying to say, in a nut shell, is that there is nothing I can do.. lol alright.
I mean I didn't have any hopes; I don't play that much anymore. I'm waiting for a few more updates to patch out more hacks/more gameplay etc.

That's largely what he's saying. It's also possible that you are a hacker, that you're on here fishing for compliments for being omgsogud y wuld they ban u? Everybody accuses everybody else of hacking. It's not something to complain about or brag about either way.
When I first played call of duty I was banned 3 times and kicked at least a dozen times because; and I say this considering the above posts: I outclassed everyone I was playing against in pubs.
There was no question about it. I remember getting kicked cause i was on a 30kill kill streak in a hardcore free for all. I reconnected and asked why. The admin said he connected and saw every1 just dieng to me (Like 7 kills in 10 seconds) and I said thats cause I had a chopper and a pavelow or w.e it was called and he said oh well sorry.
It really ticked me at the time, I was like 15-17 ish but honestly it shows people make stupid mistakes. Yes there are people that will be banned for stupid reasons. Try your best to refute it. There should be a kick option prior to the ban option imo. I was glad I was literally kicked for 15 seconds cause I was able to get back in and explain exactly what happened. If people bother you and an admin is present, gain his attention and calmly explain why its a misunderstanding. Good luck, I hope I never have to deal with this problem again.
This is why I shadowplay record every match in loadout even though I clearly don't hack
if I'm ever to be reported I'll just lol "Are you someone that loses at a game fairly so they cry foul? because I have a video of literally that SAME MATCH that you said I hacked in. What a coincidence, I wasn't. Guess what that makes you."

Stream your games using the desktop recording method then, not game source.
You have to bear in mind almost everyone thinks THEY are THE BEST. Naturally when someone beats them they will grasp for any straws to make it seem like it was something beyond their power. Just be proud that you took someone down so many pegs that the only way they could live with themselves is to claim you hacked/cheated.
And on the off chance they cry to an admin and you get banned from a sever, screw 'em. Plenty of other servers out there.
if u think ur struggeling then think of poor Feinter and Simonw77, they are banned on pretty much every server :O
yeah, no ones hacking. everyone's just accused of it -.-
