Hello everyone, we've just released our PlayRust Shared Hosting services. All servers receive at least one dedicated core and 2048 MB RAM. Check out our offers at https://playrust.eu/plans.php We currently have limited the amount of servers we're going to sell. Please ask in the live-chat or via support-ticket in case you have questions. - Ideal-Hosting
Nice prices. Hopefully someone in The Netherlands will host a Server ^^
Hello Kn0x, netherlands can easily be covered by us. You'll have a great ping on the Central EU servers.
will these servers have the same issues as EU central (sleepers)? Kinda sad and the first reason to not rent one with you guys !
Can you kick/ban players yet? Is that implemented?
Do you host Australian servers?

No, those servers ain't experiments. They're solid. [editline]6th November 2013[/editline]
Dear Ideal, Even though Central EU is playable, UK English Only is more stable fort me. I considered getting a full server but this seems even better!
Sounds like a good deal :) Question: "They can in advance get access to the server save files. " Since wipes are necessary, can you explain how this is helpful to the gamers? I would guess if you wanted to do a rollback of some kind? Thanks
Submitted a ticked. Gonna order ASAP.

You can edit them (for whatever reason) and also delete them in case you want to wipe. [editline]6th November 2013[/editline]
Submitted a ticked. Are those servers same quality as the public ones? (EU Central for example) because wether if its DDoS or crappy servers its unplayable and I doubt I'll rent anything that performs like the current public servers..
Very cool. I will definitely be interested once the game is live. Alpha is a little early for me to commit to renting a server.
cool stuff grantee some pussy boys move to their own server because they cant hang on a public one
I have one question, you write this on your medium/big plan 'With rCon you can give items (to you/other players/all players), enable god-mode, teleport to players and much more.' What about VAC, if a guy rent a server make it public, and him and friends 'abuse' the power given to the host, would they risk getting banned by VAC? Sorry if it's a dumb question. I'm asking, just to know if it worth to enter such servers to have a fun time, no fun if a host is griefing.

I submitted a ticket too, I made inquiries about the servers before but this new £60 is much better imo and more than likely an instant buy as soon as I hear back. My only concern is the 2.5TB, should the server get dossed am I right in thinking that will eat in to the allowance?
Of course it doesn't trigger a VAC ban. It's fully server-side of course, you just run the commands from the client after authenticating yourself. Thanks for the massive feedback via tickets and live-chats. We're looking forward to have the process of server setups automated shortly. To answer it in short: No, it will not count as traffic.
Are hosted servers still visible through steam? Its an interesting concept but it appears that the currently hosted servers are buggy as hell, like Aus 2 being offline for a full day. Do you have any guarantees that the hosted servers will work well? Are there any other options to pay Gary for the server files and self host?

Giving your friends god power, it's basically like giving them admin and letting them abuse it, this is nothing similar to running an actual cheat.
Maybe this is a new era.An era of friendly players playing on one whitelisted Server :'D

It's an alpha. Same applies to the servers. [editline]6th November 2013[/editline]
Ohhh what a lovely name :3
Which name? :D
