I just bought rust on steam, i go to play game, but i cannot figure out how to join the servers, i think my computer may be fucking up, i assume i click or double click on the server but that is not working, please help me.

Yeah must be an issue on your side. Once the list has finished loading fully (including the player/server count at the bottom) you should be able to double click a server.
