I have been playing Rust for a while, but have recently switched to playing it on Windows 8.1. The "Aiming" sensitivity is perfectly fine for me. But when I start to loot a bag, the DPI of my mouse somehow increases, making it hard for me to loot fast and get out of the area. Any tips on how I can fix this? Is it possible that this is happening because I play in full screen?
Just a little info on my mouse, I use a Razer Orouboros, and it allows me to change my DPI with a button. But, it doesn't allow me to change my DPI while playing in Fullscreen.
I'm not sure why your DPI would change depending on the menu but... you could launch the game with the "-popupwindow" flag to make it run in borderless window mode, maybe then you can change your DPI on the fly.
