I don't know if call it as bug or glitch, it won't injure the gameplay or something, but is a weird behavior
Take a look:
1) Open the game normally
2) Choose a server
3) Press scape when you see the "Connecting"
4) ???
5) Profit!

Hmm, I will look at this later. See if I can confirm this works.
EDIT: This works, I also see a monsters shadow in the background.
