Can't access my CPanel and you removed my mods from my server? What is going on?

I've dealt with stuff like this from time to time when i rented a Dedicated server. Just wait a few hours. If nothing happens in the next 3-6 hours then email them.

I can't login either.
Server decided to restart as well, which would be find however mods are loaded, IE Drop rates for shit I had disabled aren't anymore. Best part I can't shutdown the server to prevent people from exploiting it.

Ditto, I'm hating this provider more and more by the day.
Edit: Wouldn't be bothered so much if they sent out an email saying why they are doing this.
Is there an alternative that gives the same access to the files?
HFB is not considered a high end provider they are more like middlemen brokers. Now NFO servers are a class act but since they are a class act they won't take on games that will upset their customers. If files get released and people want to go dedicated the NFO is the way to go.
I have never waited more than 20 min for customer service to get back to me with NFO. They even assist you in filtering a DDoS attack. Can't say enough about NFO, did I mention that, lol
As always you get what you pay for.

I don't expect anything special, all I want is access to my files and control over my server. They are going out of their way to make their service shitty.

Get over yourself, look at how long ago the post was made. And it may be an alpha game, but I didn't pay for alpha servers.

Are they still giving full FTP access because ours went bye bye mid day. Clicked on File manager and got a popup saying you don't have permission to view these files. Page reloaded and File Manager along with FTP address was gone. Perhaps this has something to do with them being down.
Can someone from RUST confirm that we will have file access or is this just a problem on HFB's side?
If you mean by mods getting removed you probably mean Oxide ?

Well guys on Oxides forum are saying that all their Mods were removed even non OXIDE ones and their FTP access was revoked, they are calling Bullsh1t

I paid them so yes, I am entitled.
The only reason I'm even using the inferior oxide mod is because that's the one HFB integrated. And now they take down my control panel for over an hour, disable the oxide mod and basically ruin everything I've done over the past five days.
Now I have to either let people keep all the stuff they're looting right now, trust that they won't use it (yeah right) or wipe the server and lose half the population.

They did, but when they integrated oxide, it was gone. The only option was to remove rust++.

Good to hear. Does that mean you'll be working on the door sharing again? Or will we have to wait to see if they add the combo lock thing?
They moved our server to new hardware today without asking first, so our IP changed and the server disappeared from our players history. Our server was very active with 50+ concurrent each night, now there are 5.
I don't even know what to do, but I'm seriously disappointed in HFB.

I am also HBF customer. Currently very unhappy with them.
Since they using ports, my main server was inaccessible for 2 days now
Because some other server was being DDOSed.
Best part is I received absolutely no warning or apologies through email notifications.
I had to submit a ticket to find out what was going on.
They offered no sympathy or compensation.
As a dedicated provider they should have DDOS protection by default, God damn it.
Fee to move it to Dallas, is $50 per month. Quebec is available but its in freaking Canada eh, too far.

I still have 2 weeks left until next bill is due, but I am seriously considering switching providers.
I know Multiplay is not for me, because of their ticket system and lack of FTP control.
Anyone got any suggestion on other providers for US? I heard FPS are okay.
I would love to hear more about them, if anyone is currently using them.

Yes you did. Just because the games in alpha does NOT mean the servers are automagically crash/leak proof. They don't just become stable and issue free out of thin air.

I know that issues are going to happen and I don't expect a heartfelt email for every one of them, but I expect my questions to be answered and not given canned responses when I submit a ticket. If they are going to take TCAdmin offline, disable mods, and move servers to different hardware (that totally sucks btw) they should at LEAST make an attempt to contact their customers. I don't need 24hr notice or anything but seeing as it's been at least 3 hours now since I've been unable to FTP backup my save file and my ticket has gone unanswered I am a bit more frustrated than usual.

They're not back. But hey, you can still remove rust++...

Getting rid of mods that the creator doesn't want on there.... I get that. It sucks that they don't send out an email about it, that you have to put in a ticket just to figure out why your server isn't behaving normally when they could have easily warned people is rather silly but w/e.
If FTP doesn't come back I am getting a refund, it is still advertised on their website as "Full FTP access."
If FTP does come back, I'll go back to being a reasonably happy customer.
