Can anyone give me an estimate on when Rust 2.0 will be released (outside experimental?)
Just wondering if i'm counting weeks, months or more.
Thx

It will be released shortly after the release of Half-Life 3.
What does that mean exactly? How much more "released" do you want it?
I'm hoping experimental will be at what garry calls "baseline" (which from reading the devblogs, means it'll have most features legacy has now) within a few months. Hopefully by the end of the year at the latest.
I cannot speak officially, as I'm not at all affiliated with Facepunch nor garry.
However, I don't think there is any official answer for your question.

I thought I read somewhere they set a personal deadline for themselves in September for that.

garry was being sarcastic when he set a deadline for 7am on a particular day in September.
Asking garry for a deadline is pointless, because all it does is create a deadline for him to stress over and likely fail. Rust will be ready when it's ready, and asking garry for when that will be is just a waste of his time.
