Hey guys,
sorry for my English.
My laptop has two video cards and Rust don't recognize the dedicated card (GT 640M LE), on Windows 8.1 with all the updates . When I run Rust, by default choose the integrated card (I checked on the system information (f1)).
In the Nvidia control panel I used the Nvidia card by default and I pushed to use the dedicated card with Rust (pic related) I have this problem only with this game. Someone has the same problem? Any solution?
Thank you for the answers
Do you have that Nvidia Optimus crap? If so, try these steps for Rust: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/infraworks-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-force-your-laptop-to-Run-with-Graphics-Processor-vs-the-default-Integrated-Graphics-for-InfraWorks.html
Still no guarantee that you'll be able to play Rust, as the GT 640M LE is a slow GPU.
Thanks for the answer!
I know is a slow GPU, but could works better than the integrated one...
I did the steps, but doesn't work, maybe I have to change the setting from BIOS.
I'll search a more...
Thanks
Hi,
Could you add me in Steam (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197999579793) for troubleshooting this further? I'd like to check out what's causing it, to ensure there is no incompatibility with EAC and GT 640M LE by any chance.
Hopefully I will also be able to help anyway in fixing it.
