On each and every seed there is a super high peak, taller than the rest. The challenge: Get to the top, post a video or screenshots showing how you got there and the beautiful view. Build if you want to, or just get there, but post your screenies and vids!. This one took two of us an hour to get to the top, 1,000 stack limit so we had to go back and forth for wood while building. Jumping, stairs, cupboards, boxes and blocks were used on the foundations to boost to the next spot level enough to stand on our build on.
Great view, really defensible if you build there due to the effort it will take others to get up to you.

Can you explain what you mean by "Jumping, stairs, cupboards, boxes and blocks were used on the foundations to boost to the next spot level enough to stand on our build on."? Do you mean that you had to create a platform using cupboards, boxes and blocks, etc to build your foundations on? I didn't think that was even possible, or did I misunderstand you?
I really don't know, but I assumed someone had already posted it. It has been that way since we had black water glitches.
I mean I used a combination of those things to get there. Magefries and I placed foundations, and then used a combination of jumps and objects to get the the goal.
The house isn't that great, really, but the view.... :)

That is just beyond amazing. It looks like a Viking city-fort of the North. also want to compare it to Game of Thrones, The Wall.

I play on a mates server, which is down due to the Server Stack Over Flow Bug that caused it to crash, we tried getting help to fix it but nothing as of yet so the only thing left to do is wipe it, just gonna wait till the new update comes and forces a wipe.
This place is Valhalla III, its the third Valhalla building I've made, looking forward to making number IV got some new ideas to add to it.

Amazing! I also love the idea of sticking lanterns on top of pillars, to create lampposts. I will be doing that now around all my bases from now on! ;-)

The best way we found to do it was to hold your crosshair in the middle-ish of the pillar and jump. There's a split second where you can place it before you fall back down and as long as you get used to clicking at the right moment it's super easy and looks really cool

Even cooler, I didn't realize you had done it "freehand", I assumed you built stairs or a small block next to each pillar to place the lantern, then demolished it afterwards!
