Imagine being That Guy who cares about ratings.
Besides, if you want to get past the lag and instability, switch to the development branch and play the latest version right now instead of waiting for the update to hit the stable branch. The only disadvantage is that you have to be on development servers.
Are all servers being wiped? I want to start this game and play on a new server. :)

Yes all servers will world wipe as well as a forced Blueprint wipe so its a good time to start up once the update drops.

It's only because they found / still have some bugs that have to be taken care of first, before launching the new patch. So it's not going to be on Tuesday for ever, just for this weeks update...

Erm... except for the fact that the whole rust community is waiting for the forced BP wipe to start playing again, so this was a very informative sentence to everyone who was expecting the update to be Monday.

The update was released right? Cuz we just updated our server and there's no roads and chat is breaking for some people. Also admins can't use 3rd person.

I think its messed up since the arrow still comes out at the center.

Added speaker options
Added sleeping bag window scrolling
Doubled meat burning times
Changed bow/arrow fire speed
Changed bow ironsight mode to not be ironsight
About time 3rd person got removed... Can't wait to play tonight!

I'm a admin, so I still have 3rd person. So, i'm not that upset anymore. The bow is vary awkward to use now. I do like that the arrows no longer fly across the map.
Could someone please explain to me how to oupdate rust? I have my own server here at home. I manage all but had a friend that setup do the updates and he is not around. Any very detailed steps would be GREATLY appreciated as this woud be the first time for me to do this :)

The bow is awful. It feels like a cheap toy being fired by a 7 year old. Also, the sighting/aiming is awful. It's like I'm aiming with bow held a foot away from my head. That arrow tip should be closer to the center of the screen, and the only thing you need to compensate for is the drop.

I actually took an archery class last year because of spending so much time in Rust on the bow. Loved it, learned a lot.
When the bow was more centred, it felt more realistic. You do use parts of the bow to align with when aiming.

Although the arrow should actually be on the opposite side of the bow resting on the thumb. The Japanese guys in the picture above are doing it correctly, and also notice how the next arrow is already in the guys hand? He'll have that second arrow notched and ready to fire super fast.
In addition! You should be able to hit that second telephone pole with only a little drop in the arrow. It would also be good if the longer you held the bow drawn the more it started to shake.
