• Anti-Cheat screwing my wi-fi

I use a belkin wi-fi usb adapter to connect to the internet (ikr it's bad) I need to use wifi because it is my only option and the usb dongle was a quick fix for me when I needed it. But anyway, if my rust experimental ever crashes or I close it whilst the anti-cheat is doing anything(idk what it just happens sometimes) I get an anti cheat error and my wifi turns off and I have to run windows trouble shooting. It just disrupts the device.. I am not sure why but I thought I would post it here just in case anyone else has this issue. It only happens on this game so it probably isn't my computer. It isn't too bad, just a little annoying that I have to fix it sometimes and I think someone might know what's going on.
Hi, This issue has been fixed in our internal build which we are currently testing. We will be releasing an update within the next week that will fix this problem. Sorry about the inconvenience meanwhile.

It is in early access so that is fine :). Good to know you have solved it.
Thanks! :)
Hi, This issue should be fixed now. Please let us know if it still happens to you, thanks!
Hi, This issue should be fixed now. Please let us know if it still happens to you, thanks!
Still happening to me. Closes WLAN AutoConfig so I have to relaunch it manually. Win 8.1 64bit, Asus WiFi USB adapter, Asus router
Damn.. Sorry about that. We have one ASUS laptop so I'm going to check if it'd have WLAN AutoConfig installed as well and see if I can reproduce the issue that way.
So it seemed fixed for a day or two as far as not knocking out my wireless but it made my ping go through the roof from 14ms to over 900ms. Now today it is once again killing my connection. I had to uninstall and reinstall my driver to fix the ping issue but that seems resolved as I now have no connection afterwards. Back to the calc fix:)
Yeah, still happening for me.

Awesome! Thanks, I will debug it and see what's happening. :)
