EAC not working?

Try opening rust via folders fixes the problem sometimes.

That will not fix anything, if you open up rust via either of the .exe's eac won't be enabled and you won't be able to join 99% of servers.

Actually, running Rust.exe is what bootstraps EAC and then passes control to RustClient.exe, the actual game; when everything is working properly launching Rust.exe directly is basically the same thing as clicking Play in Steam (but without Steam launch options applying).
