Where do u report admin abuse on official servers ? - Rust

Can anybody tell me where to report admin abuse from official servers ? Thank you

I don't believe there are admin on the official servers. I could be wrong though

As far as I can tell, Facepunch pays for the official servers and just let's em run. Only the community servers have actual admins running around in-game. I know they pop in from time to time, but they usually just chat a min and then go, talked to Helk once as he came in to see how a patch was working out. There's no way the Devs are coming in and harassing people...

Bump, this guy [url]http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197992477193/[/url] is supposed to be admin from the official belgium server. Almost everybody on the server knows it, he says he is admin to, so i'm pritty sure the official servers have admins. He was even threatening to ban ppl because they were accusing him of being corrupt in chat. Now does anybody know where i can report admin abuse ? Thx

People can say whatever they want in chat, they can even log in under someone else's name and impersonate them. Doesn't mean it's true...

True , but he used the global server message for one and from what i heared godmode but i dident see the godmode myself.

Official servers do not have admins. Either he is lying, or that is a fake official server.

But all i can say is, i am about done with this game, i dont mind wipes, i dont mind getting raided legitly, but when someone clearly is hacking, yeah, it bugs me, alot. inb4 someone cries ITS ALPHA!, damn right it is, now is the time to fix all this shit, not just have the stance "let vac handle it."

Thx[/QUOTE] Just playing devil's advocate here: - He has people on his Friends with the [Ideal-Hosting] tag - His friends (with the [GMod.biz] tag) have people on their Friends with the [Ideal-Hosting] tag - [url]http://www.gmod.biz/[/url] is registered to Ideal-Hosting.de (and the software they run is licensed to Ideal-Hosting) - [url]http://www.playrust.eu[/url] (the company who host some 'Official' servers) is owned/operated by Ideal-Hosting Ideal-Hosting/PlayRUST may well host official servers, but they are not employees of Facepunch and therefore should have no control over any Official servers. They will know the Admin/RCON passwords because they host them therefore they have full control over the servers. The only people who should adminster official servers are Facepunch employees or Facepunch-approved volunteers. If you see an 'Official' server, you expect it to be a completely fair playing field for all the players - you do not expect to see any kind of abuse on them. They could at least try to keep the Official servers clean - and it takes a few seconds to search on the forum that they can't even do that. It is therefore [I]likely[/I] he has access to Admin/RCON. What a great example they are setting for Rust servers.

I would say that if you catch anyone like him abusing Admin/RCON, make a video and post it on the forum. Streaming is a good way to do this. Set up a Twitch account, download something like OBS ([url]http://obsproject.com/[/url]) and stream while you play. It won't interfere with your game and if there is any kind of abuse, you'll have it on video. I would advise you email Garry and bring it to his attention if you do get a video of it. It sets a very bad example for the game if they are abusing their powers on an 'Official' server.
