I reinstalled my pc, because it was laggy and slow. Before i reinstalled it rust was working perfectly fine.
But now that i have reinstalled it it doesnt work. On Terrain textures my pc freezes and makes a static noise.
I reinstalled my computer the second time, still hasnt worked.
I have tried 'terrain.pvt false'
I have tried to set my comatability to 'Windows 7 SP1'
Nothing is working, i am really frustrated, i really need to fix this. Please help! :(
First thing anyone should do after a fresh install of windows is make sure its fully updated from windows update.
Second thing to do is go to the manufacturers wesbite and download and install chipset drivers and graphics drivers.
If your using windows 10 you might need to run steam and rust and EAC anti cheat all as ADMIN to get the game to work right.
I also do not advise using crappy 3rd party program or windows to install drivers.
If you have an intel based board get the drivers from Intel or the motherboard makers site.
If you have an AMD based board get the drivers from AMD or the motherboard makers site
If you have an nvidia gpu get driver from nvidia site and if its AMD get from AMD site
