• Weapon making system?

this is just an idea I hear people talk about the fact that some people are going crazy with ak's just after the server wipe. I thought about it and i dont think its very fun to play like that. i came up with a few ideas that can change this People need to craft different parts of the gun. for example: The barrel, the magazine, the hammer and the body of the gun. Then you need to find a blueprint of a gun assambling bench or system. This could be the only way to make the high tier weapons like the ak and the boltie and maybe the tommygun. The m249 can only be found in a military compound or in a helicopter lootbox. The chances of finding a m249 blueprint may be significantly harder to find and will cost a lot more to craft. Also The ammo for the m249 will be heavier. i dont have an idea for making ammo for the guns. but that will be a bit harder than it is now i think this could be fun :) PS. if the english is bad i'm sorry xD
yeah I think that this would help lengthen the beginning and middle section of the game. you would need to find bps for all the gun parts and the gun. Each gun would take 5 items that need like 10 HQM and 100 metal frags. Then each gun would have 3 gun specific parts.
Well it sounds very tedious like i don't want to have to look for 3 parts to a revolver and then be forced to find another bp to make it but on the other hand it makes sense just not 4 bps to make it, i kinda like the crafting system (for the most part) how it is. Not a bad idea though. :why:
Why would the ammo for an M249 be heavier? Isn't it chambered for 5.56?
Oh and the M249 i think there should be to kinds, a drop and a crafted the drop is a little better and the crafted is a little weaker and they look different. Now correct me if i'm wrong but dosen't the m249 plan on looking like a it would today not like a handmade rust gun. Just makes sense to me but i'm not sure about what they plan on but yea. :lick:
Making bps for individual components of the guns will push the end-game further which I support. To many rush to get the bps and in response the rich get richer.
