Hey, Every time I meet up with a friend in Rust, We're invisible to each other and when we do eventually appear our characters are standing still (when we jump they do a jump animation) But in a frozen state, But when we place down fires and building they appear for each other, But our actual characters don't show real time, Tested on official servers and community servers. Does this happen with anyone else? I've came across other players in game that move normally.
Also what about anisotropic filtering ?
As bad as it sounds im happy to hear you're having this problem... been trying to work out if its a problem with my server or the game. far as i know there isnt anything you can really do apart from find a server that has just been wiped because the problem only happens after a hour or two.
Yeah I'm not trying to complain, I'm just trying to find out if other people have this issue and to see if the developers are aware of the issue. Good to see I'm not the only one who's getting it though dafin0.
Just in case one of the devs sees this..
here if a video with the Lerp debug on.. what i have found is if you do the kill command everything will be fine for the first ~20 seconds but then everything starts to break down as show here:

I have also seen (with lerp debug) sometimes it will show the other players moving but their mod doesnt move at all
A friend and myself are having the same problem that Hooks described. We're really excited about Experimental and want to play it more, but this issue is making it unplayable for us. Seems like the issue is game-related though, because we have no other desynch or network issues while playing other games. Hopefully this will get the dev's attention.
