I only play one server on Rust, Is there a way to make the client automatically connect to the server when starting up?
I tried adding both + / - connect "server:port" to startup.
Neither seemed to work.
Ins't it client.connect ?
Connect and client connect both work yes, But they do not perform an automated way 1 click to connect to server and play.
I think he wants to be able to make a shortcut on his desktop, that when clicking that, it starts rust and automatically connects to the server.
You do realise if you go into your rust directory/config & open up Keys.cfg And add a new line after bind f1 "consoletoggle" & add this bind f2 "client.connect yourip:yourport & save it. You can right click the Keys.cfg & click properties & select read only & click OK. To stop the client changing the keys within the client. Then all you need to do is open up the client & press F2 & it will connect.
