Hey :)
it seems like Rust doesn't use my GPU. If i start Rust, it takes about 30mins until i have connected to a server. Even the Lobby has about 1FPS and ingame it's like one pic every 5secs.
My CPU is constantly running at 90-100% and my RAM usage goes up to 4.5GB only for Rust.
Actually my GPU runs at 2-3%. I have no onboard GPU, only the Radeon HD7850.
Other games run properly, I already tried reinstall.
Here a few specs:
Board: ECS Elitegroup a780gm-a
CPU: AMD Phenom 9950 4x2.6GHz
CPU: AMD Radeon HD 7850
RAM: 6GB Kingston/Corsair
HDD: SAMSUNG SPINPOINT HD401LJ
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
25k vDsl

Hope somebody has any advices :)
start the game press f1 and check on system info what gpu is being used
Probably using the onboard graphics processor instead of your card.

I tried, sadly rust doesn't react. Is there any report file?
Thought about a second onboard graphic card too, but the device-manager shows only the Radeon.
Although I can't switch between two cards in the AMD Catalyst Control Center.
Edit:
Console spams:
TimeWarning: SteamNetworking.IsP2PPacketAvailable took 0.02 seconds (17ms)
(Filename: C:/buildslave/unity/build/artifacts/generated/common/runtime/UnityEngineDebugBindings.gen.cpp Line: 65)
(from output_log)
Still no possibility of reaching the system infos :(
I had this problem it was supper annoying ended up rebuilding a pc for other reasons but if you slightly overclock your clock speed some times it fixes it. Also disable/re-able your card in devices. or uninstall/reinstall your card's drivers.
I was never able to figure it out
