Looted through the wall? - Rust

Can someone help me understand what happened here? I have a 4x5x5 (l,w,h) house, and inside my house is a couple storage rooms with one being the primary. I had a bunch of stuff stashed, but more notably a box with a couple shotguns, m4, bolt action, and some ammo. I come back after an hour or so and the entirety of the rest of the storage room is untouched (kevlar, c4, etc) but the box of guns and ammo is now just 4 9mm pistols. Dafuq?

yeah u can totaly loot through walls sometimes. i'v done it couple of times or someone blow up a wall,took what he wanted or he had no room to carry more and before leaving he built a new wall. or someone broke in but be4 he can loot everything someone who knows u shot him and scared him away and built a new wall .

I've seen it way too often that other players can walk into my house WHILE the door was closed. They came right through the door. I don't know if it's a hack, lag or the door appears opened for them, but it's annoying. Besides that, i heard of some problems with the sync and how to abuse it. But i don't know really about that. What would be interesting to know.. the other storage boxes. Did you put mostly crap in them or some better stuff? Some players don't want crap and just take the good stuff with them.

If they actually got in, why wouldn't they take all the c4 and kevlar? the box was near a wall that was the exterior of my house, figuring someone noclipped to the height of the box and grabbed through the wall?

I've had people glitch through my doors and steal crap in the middle of a 3x3 multi-story base without damaging anything. Well, they destroyed my furnace for some reason, but otherwise... So. That's a possibility. Also, there IS a bug where some items will magically transform into a random other item. I had an M4 transform into a flare once. And 9mm Ammo turn into an equal number of canned tuna. :-(

So iv never experianced this,but i did watch one of frankieonpcin1080p's rust videos and he banged on the wall then boom could take the stash right out without needing to enter.

Yes, people are doing it. That and item duping are messing up servers right now. No incentive to build/keep anything because it just takes one hacker to mess everything up.

I can confirm the people walking through doors is just a bug. I've had friends of mine just walk into my base because the door appeared open to them while it was closed for me. So I'm guessing the same can happen with not so friendly players near.
