Anyone know the exact mechanics for sleepers when servers crash and go down?
If I'm out in the middle of a field harvesting some resources and the server crashes, when it comes up am I still a sleeper in the middle of the field or do I get to go invis so someone can't just run up to my body and kill it taking all my stuff?
you will be asleep in the field. better log in fast
If server resets you body is gone, but if server crashes it depends "how much it crashed", so you body may sleep or not. Hard to tell.

I login after server crashes to find bodies everywhere.
Way i look at it is FREE LOOT!
Server i was on 10 minutes ago went down, got back in people sleeping everywhere. Back down now and i'm in the field with all my kit.

There's a difference between a server restart and a server crash.
I haven't experienced any server restarts so I can't comment on that, but when a server crashes you go to sleep.
Legit server restart makes bodies gone 100% sure. Most DDoS crashes sadly doesn't work like resets.
