Simple Question. I have used the search feature and browsed many threads but have not found one with my answer...
If someone comes on to my server and spams their info of their server....is this is a Game Wide Re-portable Offense or possible result in a Ban. Now I did a local ban for my server BUT its a pretty damn rude thing to do so I want more but am unsure if I can have more. I submitted a steam report also but wanted to know if more is possible...curious only...NOT qqing.

You didn't look hard enough.
Server bans are completely separate from VAC bans. Server owners cannot do anything to influence Valve to VAC ban someone.
There is no way to report someone for a VAC ban. VAC bans are applied automatically.
Learn how VAC works before you ask next time.

I never mentioned a VAC ban. I mentioned a game ban or now that I am revamping it for clarity sake a punishment of some kind. VAC is a method of banning...however as I am no expert on all the methods dev's have to police their games and I was not sure how many methods exist. The game is owned and created by Face Punch. Steam is a platform and uses VAC, I understand VAC is a mechanism for such as ban in other situations. I am not looking nor ever mentioned a VAC ban or information about it.
The question is "Is there a mechanism for reporting users who commit these actions" by your tone I am going to take away most likely not.
However, saying I did not look hard enough then quoting VAC ban's when I never mentioned VAC and how I did not look hard enough.....I see how you might mistake the question as the common..."I have a suspected hackker...qq.." This was simply a "Is there a method for people doing this to be reported"
If the answer is no....sounds good =). As it was simply a question...I read all the stupid hacker post too so I can see why you went right on the attack.

There are only two ban levels for Rust:
1) Per-server bans
2) Global VAC ban
Server owners can only use 1), and 1) does not touch 2). Reporting people to the devs is not related to either of these two.
Stop making threads about how one player hacked and that you have "SOLID PROOF MUST WATCH". No one really cares and this will not lead to them getting banned from game servers — VAC will do the job on its own.
Why you want more? He's banned from your server, thats it.
If they would start to punish people globally tons of people would report tons of other people.
So Facepunch would have to deal with all those reports.
One ban is enough.
But maybe they integrate something like mcbans from minecraft in Rust. Who knows.

That quote is pointless to add as I never mentioned anything about Hackers....or needing proof...or anything about anything that caused Mad to post that. I did check the sticky and several other threads out. Seeing as my question is directed at people committing completely different actions then your normal post about hacking etc...I posted it. What I was looking for had nothing to do with hackers or trying to police hacks or exploits from happening on my server but your post both times focus on that for some reason.
Good info otherwise, thanks for responding on your second post with the info I was hoping to get. The first post was not helpful at all and was not related to the question I asked in the context I asked it in any way.
=/ You just jumped on the attack to easily, but really if those are the only 2 methods for policing people in the rust community then I appreciate the good info! =)

You could've been more clear. There is no "Game Wide Re-portable Offense" except VAC, and if you'd done more reading you would've found this out.
And what I am saying is, there are only two things that can happen to a player.
1) They get banned from your server
2) They get VAC banned
Because spamming chat is not a VAC-bannable move, that takes 2) off the list. Therefore, you can only ban them from your server.
And I linked that because, the devs don't care about you reporting people to them because they very literally can't do anything about it except tell you to ban them from your server and get over it. If they don't want to hear about hackers, they don't want to hear about spammers.
Maybe I came in a little rude, and I apologize for that, but use some common sense, man.
troll and put this tag on your server name [VAC:OFF] and let those hackers enjoy their short period of hacking this great game.
