So I have been trying to get in server but I cant. Why?
That's the error you get when your client is mismatched from the server.
Looks like you're trying to connect ot the dev branch. Have you switched to the dev branch client?
Erm, I am not sure what is that?
You can also get this if the client version differs from that of the server. Try verifying the integrity of your game cache
Edit:
didn't see you were playing on the dev branch. Like Crunchmeister says, have you switched to the dev branch client?
Which one is that? At Steam properties? Or where is that client

And how Dev branch is different from other servers?
Right click on rust in steam
click on properties
select the "Betas" tab
select "development - The latest updates - straight fro..."
This allows you to play on Dev branch servers. AS you can see, the server you are attempting to connect to has "Dev" in its name, indicating that it is a devbranch server.
So Development servers get updates the fastest?
The difference is that the dev branch is testing servers. You get to see the latest, greatest additions to the game before they're released to the general public.
The down side is that you can't really "play" on these servers like you would on a regular one. They get wiped very frequently. Their purpose is to test new items, not for longer term game play.
As a result, you need to physically switch your client to the dev branch so that it updates itself accordingly. You can't connect to dev servers with the regular client and vice versa.
So in short:
- if you're looking to actually play Rust, use the normal client on a regular server.
- if you want to test out functionality, new items, etc that are coming in the next update (later today, btw), then go to the dev branch. Just don't expect normal game play or longevity.
