My friend hears the wolves talk, sometimes I hear voices. I'll hear someone go "uh" or like as if their voice is cut off for a split second. That's spooky mate.

I think it's someone's voice in the background of the wolf sound.
I have heard it too, I think having a head set really amplifies it. I always feel like I am near someone talking when a wolf is chasing me and never hear anybody any other time.

Finally someone mentions it. I really thought I'm getting all paranoid ingame and that my brain is going to melt soon.
It's not just wolves but the whole environment. Like reeeally silent whispering. You can't understand what is being said, but you hear someone is talking.
I also hear the airplane like it's really far away.
Once a invisible admin was watching me, hitting me with something and making wookie noises.

Of all topics I had to jump into on my first post. I was playing around on a 0 player server just to sharpen my skills, mess with the environment and get a better idea of how the internals work when I would hear that wolf whimper when it dies/gives up hunting you - it is definitely recorded from some kind of tv show - likely an American sitcom - and amusingly enough, poorly edited so that it leaves in a voice from a human actor.
Another sound, this one an ambient white noise track, appears to have some voices deep in the background... everyone has heard the car horn, but can you sometimes faintly hear what sounds like a crowd of people shouting in the distance 'whoaaaa-ohh.. whoaaa-ohh!' with a rising and lowering pitch. It's like someone recorded a windy day in their neighbourhood and some kind of school pep rally is happening down the street. If you hear it as well (I think it's one of the late-afternoon white noise tracks) let me know.

Yes! Oh, so it's not just me!? I hear them whispering to me at night... I even hear them while not playing or even online. They make me do things...

Pretty sure it's a sound. Noticed this on release. It's a reversed guy talking something.
they DEFINITLY Talk, like, when they stop barking, in that 2 or 3 sec you can hear someone or breathing/talking or something.
It really scares the shit out of you because you think theres a person in the shadows watching you...
anyone else notice all the weird back noise while mining rocks? i hear faint noises that continue on after the initial noise from hitting the rock. Sounds odd.
I assumed it was someone was talking whilst recording the sound effect?
off topic but sometimes if you shout at a wolf it stops chasing you. As do bears.
