• [IDEA] 3D Context Menus

When I saw the video about the 3D context menus in the Thursday Devblog 5, it got me thinking. Why not actively display the context menu (the new 3D one) whenever you're mousing over something in range, and then use scroll wheel to choose an option, and a key to select. (Maybe middle-click?)
but what if you dont have a scroll wheel?
I don't know how to judge them at all. I only saw the look but did not experienced the feel - maybe they will be awesome as it is ?

What if the menu got in your way? Like when you are hunting, or when you are in combat? Even if these circumstances are potentially rare, they are valid points. I could see the method you are talking about being used for doors and such. As cool as that would look, it could potentially break immersion. Just some food for thought.
Could you post the aforementioned video in OP for those who haven't seen it to make opinions as well?
Because you might want to hit/shoot the object you're looking at
3 dimensions is not enough, give us the 4D context menu

I wonder if he'll pop back in and see my reply to him....
