Hi when i seen about the door's getting made into bp i was a little mad ok very mad because it going to be a pain when you find a wood door bp you make one put it down then u find a metal bp door you smash that down then put the metal one down and you can't even turn them wow why what have you done please don't change!.

I'm pretty sure all 3 doors types will be default. Making metal and armored a non-default blueprint would literally be the worst idea ever.
They were default as of last night on Dev branch

If they're default then what's the point of making them blueprints in the first place?
Perhaps doors were one of the things causing building stability issues?

The doors are now crafted then placed from inventory that's all. You decide based on the resources on hand if you want wood metal or armoured then craft it and place it after it completes. They can not be upgraded after they are crafted so if you place wood and want armoured later chop chop chop until the wood one is destroyed

Maybe to make the building plan menu less overloaded with building parts.
maybe you dont know, but you can unplug the doors from your doorway, when the codelock is removed an the door is open. so you can still rotate or replace the doors. its just another building system. everything is fine. :)
edit: the door bps will be default (all), so dont worry!
Its so there is a crafting time albeit 30 seconds, still time for any maniac 2 come charging into your house. Great addition imo.

The entire point is to open up possibilities to add in different kinds of doors. Hatch doors, sliding doors, half doors etc.

No chop chop, the doors can be removed when open, and go back into your inventory.
The only problem now is I'm left with a bunch or sheet metal doors after replacing them all with armor. lol
