A friend trying to connect to my server is unable to connect

he is getting this error
system.nullpreferenceexception then a bunch of letters/numbers and file not found.
He can connect to any other server fine. I have had alot of people on my server but he has never been able to connect, There are no bans active on my server yet. does anyone know a way to solve this?
