Hacker injected hacks on my client? I need some help. - Rust

I was just playing on a battlefield server a few moments ago, racking up kills as I had used a kit to grab an M249. I usually use this gun in battlefield because I love spraying down people until they die. Anyways, I was spraying down people and killing them close up their base while raiding it, and they started calling me a hacker. He was yelling at me, calling me a dick and asked me to not raid his base. I dismissed these claims, because lots of people do it when they're mad. But for some reason, one guy up in his tower that was right infront of me (not very tall) said "you are locked onto me right now". His chat was right above his head, with those exact words, and due to impulse, I looked right at it to see what the fuck it was. He then jumped up and down, as if he knew I was looking at him. That shit was shady as hell. It was like those orange doritos that you spot people with in BF4, but with the words that he typed. I at first thought it was an invisible admin teleporting in to see me play, but the words were like a notification. I was too baffled to take any screenshots, thinking it was maybe a new glitch by the new update, that you see people's chats floating by their heads or something. But no, I was wrong. When I realized it was something entirely, I alt+f4'd. My biggest concern is getting an EAC ban, as I have no idea how the hell he made me see that. I can't remember his name, but I do know that this guy was in the same clan as him: [URL]http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198262031904/[/URL] It might even be him. I'm not sure. It was on the newer X5000 battlefield that popped up, THC X5000 or something similar I believe. Their server icon is a white background with black X5000 in the center. I'm too scared to start my game up again in fear of this, and I don't have a clue who I should be contacting to talk about this, so I just decided to put this here. This might be something terribly bad for the community - there may be hacks that will get other people falsely banned. I'm not sure. I've never seen anything like this before. for christs sake people, if you wouldve read the op im [I]afraid[/I] of being EAC banned from this shit. i haven't been banned, and i dont think i will be after more thought. but what happened is still scary. ive seen all kinds of stuff regarding blatant cheats and shit from other people within rust, but ive NEVER seen something like this. this is dangerous and i have never seen it before. i don't know what the implications are. fuck me for letting the community know i guess? whatever

Nobody will believe you without some kind of media evidence to back it up; otherwise, it seems like either you're paranoid and nothing bad actually happened, or that you are cheating and just want to point to this thread as a defense when you get banned.

also consider that every time someone DOES get banned, we hear a similar story; "my brother hacked" "i borrowed my hacker friends computer, and logged into my account, now i'm banned" "i jumped and now i'm banned" or even "honest, i didn't cheat, unban please". if this genuinely happened, it's interesting. photo/video evidence would be useful. being able to reproduce it even more so. but without any of that, (and i say this with all due respect) it's just a pretty story.
