I'm having a problem connecting to any servers in the game. - Rust

Hi, I just wanted to post a thread here because I've tried contacting Facepunch support and they never got back to me, I'm still waiting for a reply almost 48 hours later. I've tried posting to reddit and finding an answer to the problem. I've tried re-installing Rust, I've verified the game cache, I've restarted my computer. I've done everything I can do but re-install Steam because I've got lot's of games installed. I've heard that back in 2013 people were having this same problem and some people were saying it was a master server issue, some others were saying all the servers were being DDoS'd. But either way, it's 2014 now and I can't seem to find anything that can tell me how to fix the issue. I just bought the game and I was excited to play it and now this happens. It's kind of upsetting. I understand it's in the Alpha stages but many other people are playing right now, why can't I? I have no VAC ban on my account or anything, it's completely clean, I've never cheated so that's not the problem... Someone please help. Is it all servers or just one?

Are you opted in to beta programs in the rust game properties though steam ?

Are you on a Mac or PC? I know Macs have quite a few issues with the game.

I know Realtek audio drivers can cause issues, but I don't think they've ever stopped people from connecting to servers.

Maybe it has something with your firewall/antivirus if you have any? Add Rust to white-list in firewall/antivirus and try again.

Just figured it out guys, thanks for all the help. It's because I had the latest version of Rust so I needed to find servers that were fully updated to the very latest patch. I found some on [URL="http://reddit.com/r/playrustservers"]/r/playrustservers[/URL].
