Here are some ideas of traps. please vote I would like to know what you think. traps 1. Flare trap (if it is night you could see enemies or animals that activated) 2. Granade trap (the most classic but more expensive traps) 3. Bell alarm (ISI approximates an enemy while you are distracted not kill him. Least not unprepared) 4. Arrow trap (probably not kill them but surely enamigo or animal will be quite hurt) Implementation 1. in a false door. 2. on the floor of your home. 3. woods or outside. 4. in water (only "Granade trap"). 5. in a box the same way as the keys are placed. Technical specifications 1. all traps deverian be removable only if pointed to the mechanism (not the cord). 2 traps on or in the water should have a decay. 3 the "arrow trap" is buried with an angle 40 ° / 45 ° so the torso is pointed also to hide much of the mechanism. 4 traps can be activated by Tambie animals. 5. the box in which the trap is placed must be empty. 6. can not place objects in a box trap. Well this is all I hope to read your comments and ideas.
It would be cool to have a lot of different ways to protect your base from outsiders and make both raiding and setting up the defences to prevent it require some strategy but I can imagine people engaging your base naked to set off these traps and coming back well eqquipped to finish it off.
maybe make some trap in storage box too, using a grenade, if someone try open, it will explodes... in trello ai suggested: would be nice if people can carry the box instead of only open it, will be more like treasures, and will be fun see somebody naked carrying the box in your hands and running or see some clans fighting for a empty stolen box. After you take/steal the box you can choose open in your home using the lockpick skyrim system suggestion... - http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1417402 after saw your suggestion I added: and this can explodes in your face... sorry my english
