Hello Everyone!

I'm Immortality and I've decided to expand my Rust clan. Originally, I wanted 7-10 players to play Rust as a group with. Upon making a thread, I received over 25 friend requests. 19 of those are now a part of HoT.
Since it's quite hard to find people to play with in Rust or people you can trust, I've decided to start Hour of Turmoil which originally began a year ago in Tera with amazing success.

Upon meeting group members, I've noticed there are many different play styles and time zones. Therefore, I am expanding HoT to be able to make multiple groups under the same collective name. There are quite a few good members that take leadership roles and are overall friendly/fun.

Based upon certain criteria, you will be placed with other members that seem fitting to you, and a person will be designated the leader of the group. If you ever have complaints about membership or leadership, contact the leader of the group or myself personally. You can also request to be placed in any group you choose, but some may be full (can't have 40 members on the same server or there would be no one to kill ^_^). Now post the form :D!

We also play a variety of other games. HoT does not simply play Rust. Many of us also play games like LoL, CS, and insert game name here. So if you're not feeling up to Rust, play some other game with HoT members. You are not being drafted into the militia by joining.

Requirements:
-18+ please. In rare cases, exceptions can be made if the majority of the group agrees.
-Mic required & willingness to use Skype/Raidcall/ or whatever is decided by the group.
-North America is your residence
-Laid back/sense of humor
-Enjoy PvP. You will not have fun if you are a pure PvEr
-If you're a LoL player, ++++++++++!

Goals & Objectives:
-Domination. No explanation required :)
-Mutual respect/friendship. As we continue to play together, I hope we stay close knit. Every member should have respect for other members. Joking is encouraged! Just don't cross the line.
-Fun. People tend to forget that the point of games is fun. There will be no drama amongst members.

Who I am: I am a sophomore Finance & Management major and a leader in a prominent business club. I like table games like foosball/pool/table tennis and sports like basketball and volleyball. I've played a variety of MMOs, and I run a medium sized LoL community.

Just clarifying, by becoming a leader, I mean for a Rust group. Players will be grouped together based on similar criteria, so there will have to be some leader.

We typically average 7-10 online the server not 20 lol. If you actually read the thread, you would have seen that the group will be broken up among servers.

This is untrue. I am the overall leader, but there are other leaders that have emerged in the group. Ultimately, someone needs to decide certain aspects of Rust or tiebreak potential voting.

Games you play besides Rust:at the moment my interests are all over the place. i dabble in a bit of starcraft 2 and i used to play dota 2 fairly hardcore (2,500+ hours). I'm looking to get absolutely hooked on Wildstar when it releases.

i would like to add that since my hardware is outdated and fairly shitty (i use a desk fan to cool my GPU since the fan on it died) i mainly like to be a a gatherer. i think of myself as a standard worker in RTSes. i am open to participating in PvP but since my current hardware is lacking im not confident in my abilities to perform well. i made a post on the rust subreddit about what i enjoy the most in rust. My sleep schedule is also non existant and will be soon working on getting my life together. so my availability is not consistant. if that matters.

"incase anyone is curious. what i enjoy the most in rust, as a solo player, is providing a resource gathering service. i attempt to earn a random groups trust and i offer that i will gather what the group needs in exchange for a nice, cozy base. i do not back stab them. i do what i promise untill i lose interest in the group or untill they get raided and they move on. at that point i start from scratch and attempt to help another group. my frames do not allow me to be able to PvP at a consistent skill level and the social interaction in rust can lead to very interesting and hilarious results."

Welcome Skeered :).

We're playing on a USEast server that has no durability and is unmodded(I believe). It has pretty high population like 80-100 online. Our other server just went down so we started there and within a day have an excessive amount of stuff researched and tons of materials.
