Fghting: Semi Rifle! - Rust

Hello guys I would like to see some sort of a semi rifle in rust later in the experimental! Darn. I was expecting a rifile that launched semi tractors, air horns and all. 0/10 would not back suggestion.

nah, the more low tech the better. i don't want to see automatic modern weopons, and these weopons are on that slippery slope towards that. i'm happy with the current balance of guns being implemented into experimental.

The M1A is basically just a match-grade M14. They have an idea for Thompson already, so I don't think these would be too out of place. I think that the SKS would be a great fit for Rust. A lot of them have kind of a crappy, beat-up appearance, the loud sound of the bolt operating, and loading it with clips in the top would be great.

If we are going with the theme of the game being post apocolypse then we should be able to find guns but not craft anthing other the. Pipe shot guns or black powder smooth bore weapons. Maybe if we can scavange parts or something but making a thompson from raw metal is too detailed work for me to believe. Those attemting to make a home made thompson would surely kill the selves with the first trigger pull on live ammo

anyways there is no Semi weapon + those weapons i posted are just how they could be like + they could have a new type of ammo that people have to search

They have an idea for Thompson already, so I don't think these would be too out of place.[/QUOTE] they were also mass manufactured for war in factories tooled out for machining parts. don't get me wrong, i see the "thompson" in the trello (since its not yet functional in game, last i saw:)), i just don't want to see us go much higher tech than that, and all i see in the above suggestion, using the garand as an example, is a semi-auto bolty with a clip, negating all the balancers of the bolt action rifle. i really don't want this to be only a "get kev and m4 and shoot everyone" game at the end. if its going to be that, just spawn with the damn things, and scrap everything survival oriented entirely; drop hunger, stamina, crafting, building. make this "Rust Counterstrike" and be done with it. just to clarify, i'm happy enough for FOUND military grade weopons in low volumes with restricted ammo, i just don't think we should be able to craft anything other than improvised weoponry.

And its really not that hard to turn it into an automatic with just a few springs, plates of metal, etc.
