Similar issues to what happened a month or so back. tried restarts unistall reinstall force d3d9. try rust and rust direct x no luck launching.

played fine up until update. after update miner hat sideways and furnaces not smelting
It seems like whenever there's an update, EAC connection problems pop up. It might be that Rust sees a surge in gameplay after each update, which means EAC sees a surge in authentication requests that's causing temporary network hiccups and that EAC connection error.
The sideways mine hat is definitely a glitch.
