facepunch_connector_VAC_banned - Rust

Hi, i cannot connect to any server, and i guess that this message "facepunch_connector_VAC_banned" mean that i m banned, i would like to know why? i played rust for 3 to 5 days, 2 weeks ago, i didn't use any kind of hack or third person program while i was playing and just tried to come back and play again today, and i cannot, can you please help to solve that mistake? I played for about a week, got caught up with work for about a month, and now am banned. Sent in a request to facepunch support. Not holding out much hope. I'd love to know the reasoning behind it. I really enjoyed playing this game, and truly wish to continue. However, everything I've read states that, false positive or not, VAC Bans are permanent. I'll be sad if it can't be appealed.

Seriously, do they need to have a huge flashing notice that Facepunch has no authority with regards to VAC bans and therefore can't do anything about them before you post for people to get the message? If you did something to warrant it or not, Facepunch can't do anything with regards to VAC bans.

You clearly did something you weren't suppose to do. Most people think of hacking as installing an aimbot or no-clip but something even as simple as adding a crosshair mod is technically hacking and can get you VAC banned. ANYTHING that gives you an advantage, no matter how small, over other players is cheating and you will get banned for it.

If you own a MPGH account, you have to login to download the 'cheats' and that will be detectet as activity. New patch etc gets realsed, their hack goes 'unavalibe' until its 'safe' .. You cannot get rid of hackers in any way, only make it harder. But they will prevail. Ofc i don't play on officials coz thats just asking for it. And if it gets to much, i'll just get VAC banned again, but did some justice in the mean time. It is quite funny looking at players speedhacking,highjumping and then refusing it in chat, kinda miss that.

Hacking as much as it will get you revenge will take the fun out of the game, I try to always remember I play for fun and that hackers are truely the minority and VAC does a decent job along with admins who are on top of their game don't go to the dark side you will be disappointed while playing on a game I will not name by the hosted by EA and Dice lol because of my anger at the bugs and hacks. Ruined it for me now I don't even play, its like drugs man just trust me you'll get hooked if you do it enough then dependent then go to jail aka VAC lol I also know about the whole drugs thing too so I'm not just spotting off, no offense to those who partake doesn't make them a bad person just like hacking its a personal thing difference is it effects us which we don't enjoy. Any ways little bit of a rant there. Hope this helps so peoples thoughts on the matter.
