• Rust.ini file?

Looking for the ini file to change my keybinds, hoping I can change my hotbar keys as I use arrows. Anyone able to let me know where it is located? Cheers. EDIT: Found the config.ini, but do not know the hotbar name. For example 'Fire is Fire' - "input.bind Fire Mouse0 None". Any idea what hotbar commands are?
There are no binds for hotbars yet - that's something we need to make adjustable I guess?
It'd be nice if, eventually, anything that's a keyboard input can be rebound, and it'd be great if much of the interface could be controlled by keyboard, although there is obviously a limit to this before it gets dumb.
You might be able to use autohotkey to make key aliases. EDIT: Here you go OP, hotbar binding: http://pastebin.com/WKgsUszm Btw i threw in some other small tidbits that you might like. The best one i think is i fixed Shift + Tab so it works now.
I'm sure there is a command for hotbars, albeit it doesn't show in the config, just either need a mod/admin to take a look or we just need to guess - hotbar1, hotbar2 or whatever. Will try later once I'm no working. I'll let you know when the two steam accounts i own (one i gave to my bro) and used with autohotkey get a vac ban lmao. Especially when any gaming mouse or keyboard come with macro software. XD
Calm down blue whale, I didn't realise who it was that posted that, my bad.
My username is not Blue Whale, thanks. That's a forum title, and it's also a hyperlink.

I use arrows, currently use mouse buttons for 1 and 2, but pressing 3-6 takes my fingers off of the movement keys. As a quick fix, what are the actual command names for hotbars 1-6, Fire is Fire, maybe I can just add "input.bind hotbar1 1 NumPad4" to the config file? XD
How about the majority of games that dis-allow third part programs? Having a mouse and keyboard with the ability to macro is one thing, downloading and installing AutoHotkey is entirely different. AutoHotkey can macro, it can remove recoil, it can remove weapon inaccuracy in full-auto. You can even make auto-med scripts, even a simple aimbot. Auto mining scripts, the list goes on.
Yes, sarcasm... Over your head.
You're a victim of Poe's Law, because actual confusion over my name/title occurs once every week or so, and it's only once happened outside of the Rust subforum. Also, let's not argue over the potential hackishness of AutoHotKey. AutoHotKey is not an acceptable substitution for vanilla functionality such as hotbar binds. The devs can't tell everyone to install and configure AutoHotKey if the mechanism they want to use belongs in Rust.
Yep, we can agree that the hotkeys for the hotbar needs to be changeable.

http://www.bloody.tw/en/product.asp?cid=1&scid=&id=4 And assuming their is some game out there that kicks for autohotkey, i haven't encountered it but it's not halflife 2, gmod, or rust (and since that means vac won't kick for it, it probably also means no steam game will ever kick for it). Also anything autohotkey can do any programming language can do so should we ban all of those to? Ban having visual studio installed?
