Our server is finally done with HFB. First they changed hardware on us without notice, which changed our IP and dropped us from our players History tab. Now it's just frequent, 12 hours+ downtime. It is impossible to keep up a playerbase. After a fresh wipe and getting back over 100 concurrent, [B]our server was down the entirely of Sunday until 11pm[/B].
It's a shame really, the lag was god awful from the 21st-25th but has been remarkably solid the last 3 days.
Oh well, on to Multiplay... crossing my fingers that they are more stable.
Multiplay has been wonderful for me so far, its been a month without any issues, no wipes, and only restarts for updates.

Do they have a file manager?
It sounds like you were being DDOS'd which they really have no control over. It's the data centers that HFB goes through that ultimately handle that problem.

Im not sure how much access they give you, Ive never needed to edit files, i run a Vanilla server.
But yes, ClanForge has a file editor, be patient with it though, CF Control Panel took me a while to get used to..

Which isn't really relevant unless they announce they are switching server farms.
