People its an Alpha game with Alpha its trial and error if something goes wrong sit tight be happy you have people working on the game and are trying there best! So stop crying and swearing and flabergasting about it... Games take time and a lot of coding and a good team so calm your self's it will be fixed in a short time, coding errors if it is that are hard to find but if its just an error with something they put in it wont flag up which will take a lot of time to find out and fix what it is that causes such problems sit tight and let the men and women work there magic. Thanks for reading Kieran
Games that were good, and updated to not be good are something people can get a bit upset about. If they are coding and working as a 'good team' they wouldn't release something leaving this many critical issues. This is one of the only alpha titles currently publicly available that has done something as stupid as this. Only had to have someone on our server for 5 minutes to point out a majority of the new errors.
Not really I have played games where they have rushed updates you just have to bear with (see what I did there) ;) Like a said its an alpha and people was begging for the update, just have to wait let them get on with stuff its a new game and was brought out so dam early in the development. not stupid baby steps got to life and learn and see whats best for the game.

I could try and tell you some problems with your argument but I can not be bothered.
Games that were good,
lmao when did that happen?
Your not angry... upset is a better description and what a boring video. Guys I respect you both have opinions on each others matter but lets not be having arguments, if you want to further the chat please take it onto your private messages thanks guys :3

They've already released a patch today (2 days after the initial one) to resolve the node server-side issues. Realistically, what you've done is pre-order the game, and as a bonus you also get to test it. Your feedback does matter. A good example of this is the 3d mock-ups a forum poster made of half-ceilings, half-walls, and stone buildings actually being used as a basis for building parts that are being worked on (as seen on the Facepunch trello). This is also not the first time a patch has been nearly game-breaking - at one point, in a patch where they added grass displacement, the ground was covered with blocks with "W1" written in them due to a coding error. Another time, after updating to a newer version of unity, there were crippling FPS issues. These things happen in an alpha. You say that you don't care that they replaced the zombies with animals, and then complain that they used animals. The animals are a place-holder, just as the zombies were - complaining that the temporary bears shit out backpacks and listing it as a con is silly. Their reasoning on this is pretty damn sound - the longer they wait to replace zombies, the more complaining there is going to be. You can talk about how "early access" is bullshit, how consumers have rights (and in the UK, you have the right to a refund, and in the US you can sue), but you have the right to what you paid for - which was the game that is not out yet. The alpha is a bonus, and a chance to help make the game better. Any talk of refunds or suing is silly, especially given that there is a nice big disclaimer on the buy page stating: "We are in very early development. Some things work, some things don't. We haven't totally decided where the game is headed - so things will change. Things will change a lot. We might even make changes that you think are wrong." They improved resource nodes, both in looks and functionality (visual cues to a node's condition). This caused an unintentional breaking of the code on the server-end. They have now fixed it (or at least improved it). Now, as an end-result, we have resource nodes that look and function better than the old ones. They improved animal AI. Now, as a result, animals respond to stimuli better than they did before. Sometimes they don't respond at all. They will fix it. There was a point where, for a long period of time, an update broke the AI entirely, and the animals were literally just static resource nodes that made noises as you bashed them with a rock. They fixed that. As a result, overall we will have smarter, more interesting animals. They removed zombies. We knew this was coming. They used placeholder animals. As they said on the update page, they know we hate it. They also hate it. They're replacing it. Does it really matter whether the goodies are dropped by red animals or zombies, as ultimately the game will have neither? Wow, that turned into a rant rather quickly...
Love it how people make threads like this, if people make threads AGAINST it what's the point of making a thread (just like all the others) that they shouldn't make a thread, yet you make the same thread like others do to? Waitwut
