• [Suggestion] Blueprint progression

Proposal: Move to a weighted scale based on current known blueprints and current server tech adoption rate. Intended Effect: This would make it more likely to get the blueprints you need, less likely to get the ones you already have, and far less likely to get the ones no one else has. By allowing players to progress as a whole, it would better mimic slow advancements in technology over a period of time, rather than be a sprint to be the first with the C4. It would also help with accelerated acclimation to new players on an established server. They would be less limited to the full progression cycle and be able to integrate better with the server. Although the inherent advantage to team play would not really be affected, the advantage over solo play to progress more rapidly to endgame tech would be limited. Hopefully, allowing solo players to remain at a similar tech level as the server progresses. Implementation: When a player loots an item source (i.e. barrel) if a blueprint is among the contents, use an algorithm to determine what the blueprint should be based on current known blueprints and current server tech adoption rate. The current server tech adoption rate can be found by averaging the aggregated number of each blueprint owned by each player that has played in a given time period (last 2 weeks). Each of these averages would serve as a modifier when determining the likelihood of receiving each blueprint. The current known blueprints would serve as a modifier to reduce the likelihood of receiving each blueprint already owned.
Or the lovely, lovely research kits.
I am trying to slow progression, as well as even it out. Research kits don't slow progression, it speeds it up. I think it would be beneficial for the overall tech progression to slow down. There is no real reason to be end game tech in a week.

Also I'd rather not have them do all this when barrels themselves are a temporary thing. I'd rather them make a sort of puzzle solving mini game out of research, based on parts and scrap metal you have to scavenge and find.
