Given that the game is a success, or what it is at its core for an alpha (which rust seems to have been). Anti cheat can potentially double, if not triple profits. I have had people on my friend list get VAC banned to my surprise (closet hacking) and they buy a new copy, instantly!
So when Gary reports 3-4-5k people banned, thats potentially 100,000$$$ in sales. As well as word of mouth that the game is being developed correctly, the sky is the limit! You go Gary!
