I was wondering if a radio could be introduced into rust?. 1 per building cup.
Purpose
- Listen to music on your pc (although im guessing theres legal issues here)
- Broadcast voice transmissions across the maps (to anyone with a radio) or passcode for clan radios. Could be interesting if you kill someone with their radio code punched in.
- Talk to raiding/scavenging teams from base or person to person (trying to defeat the object of such 3rd parties like teamspeak) for realism.
Music thing is not Possible without rights.
Rangeless voicechat is a sure funny thing if youre able to contact random people,
Could be combined with Satelite as Funny easteregg like function
Music is quite possible without rights, just enforce spotify radio only. There, its done - if I play spotify in the park, with my phone, through some speakers, no copyrights has been breached.
That would be cool. All in-game voice and music. Wouldn't have to use team speak and such.
Maybe you could just put an online radio stream URL into your radio thingy ingame, and it would play that.
