Dose anyone know what kind of music would go with rust or that they should use for in-game music? im wondering if anyone made like a sound track for rust or something. (sorry if i word this weirdly)

i was looking at the rust twitter and they were looking for music.
I cant believe that no one has thought of music for rust. :downs:
I can't name any music but anything ambient and eerie would probably suit the game and it's environment.
Chances are they would have someone on the team make the music for them, if they just used music grabbed off the internet made by someone else, there would probably be lawsuits up the wazoo.

Yea but they are looking for people to make music for them prob. I dont think they have a person who dose that on their team.

YES, i just listened to that it sounds awesome. i think they should add like old sounding music or stuff like that.
Music would rather be pointless, I mean maybe i faint background horror, triggered in combat when almost dead other than that i think this was a worthless idea, please remember that this is in alpha and that all of these pointless suggestions they already thought of and may put in the game latter are rather annoying for browsers like me and, other facepunch users that aren't just here for rust.

if there would be actual songs in the background that would be weird but feint horror sounds or something to make you feel unsafe even more would be great.

Main menu music?
Ambiance will of course be used in-game but not the main menu.
Main menu should have music.

it's clearly meant to be a survival game. survival games mean nothing without atmosphere; atmosphere is achieved through music very well. don't say "it's an alpha they have higher priorities than this!!" when something like music isn't a small detail or anything, it's a pretty big aspect of the game that would improve it a lot.
and you aren't forced to visit this section, and you can't really complain that "it takes up a small amount of space in the ticker/read page" because music is a good thing to discuss with a game like rust. stop being so elitist and realize that not [I]every[/I] thread suggesting things for rust are simply "lol add this pls". it's an alpha, you're meant to give feedback and suggestions for ways to improve.
I was thinking Radoactive-imagine dragons would go well with rust but now i think differently.

I really like the music in rust as it is now. It creates a tense atmosphere.

Yes, the creepy russians talking in my head is wonderful, it compliments the constant beatings and shootings.
I'd rather want an option to lower music volume or disable it completely. After a few hours of the same loops you start to get annoyed.
