Think about this. You have a 20 floor high tower. You have metal foundations outside so if they want to build barricades they would need a ton of metal. So lets say that's out of the question.
Now, the raiders only have one path to raid you'r base, by blowing down you'r doors. With house ownership being implemented how would this prevent the owner of the base to simply, remove metal door and doorway to replace it with a wooden wall.
Why do this? It's sort of obvious, you have 50 wooden walls in you'r inventory ready to place as soon as they destroy the current wall in place. The raiders cant stay close to the wall unless they want to die or close to it.
Thoughts?

There is a cool down for replacing doors when you destroy them. ( about 300 sec)
I don't know about walls but I think that might be true also.
The trello card for house ownership leads to to believe that all it will be is a short window of time when you can pick up a building part that you had just placed, in case of mistakes and stuff.
I still wish there will be a way to prevent griefing.
I don't want people placing stuff around or even in my house.
As long I have to build suicide houses I will wait until I touch Rust again.

Stay away with your sh*t ideas that will poison the game.
You 2 are a bit harsh... I don't think it's particularly a bad idea to introduce something that prevents people from building boxes around front doors or replacing stairs with ceilings that can't be removed, even with c4. Or is trolling people integral to the gameplay for you 2?
Have your admin install the remove mod. This way you can have them remove any items that have been griefed in your base. Some versions allow you to remove stuff you have placed as well. Once an item is attached to your base it belongs to you in the eyes of the code. This means with the remove mod you could delete the placed items.
There are always 2 extremes on this forum, the people who want to troll everyone and the people who never want to be touched...both equally immature IMO. Raid my house, take my shit, don't grief me because at that point it just turns the game to ass. The more you play the better you get at building bases that you can't grief. But for now, due to the lack of defense, I build suicide bases you can't raid because it's the only way to do it.
