I don't know why this is even happening but after the last update the game has been unplayable. When I even attempt to connect to some server I get an connection unresponsive error. Ingame even with my graphics quality put to absolute minimum I cant run at over 8 fps. This is insane cause last week I was running the game at moderate graphics settings at 50-40 fps.
I also reinstalled the game, made sure my nvidia GPU is the default graphics card, updated my graphics card and my OS, cleared temp files on my system and pretty much all the obvious possible solutions. Non have had any impact on this issue. Any guidance towards solving this would be much appreciated.
I had been running 50-60 fps at max detail for a while now. Since the last update, I've had to lower my detail settings and still only getting a frame rate in the mid 20s as an average.
I only got the game a few days ago, and so far I couldn't rise above the 11 FPS bar at minimum settings

Some posts suggests that the client is defaulting to the wrong video card, if you have hybrid graphics it might be worth it to investigate what video card you're running on, I'm going to try this today.
Been getting a solid 60fps for the last 5 updates or so (when I got GTX 970). Obviously drops when tons of buildings, down to around 40fps.

Same as you, my GTX970 can run smooth @ 60fps in 2560x1080 with all max settings, of course I get some drops in bigger builds and some gun fights, but nothing to worrie...
its the grass.
