A jacket is usually slightly thicker than a shirt. And thickness = more for a bullet to pierce before it gets to you?
Because its a game and not a real life simulator.

Back then when there was a snowbiome the Jacket was the best item you could wear there it was the Metal chest plate for all the Snow biome players.
Now its pretty much useless.

I agree with you. Its a stupid game mechanic that headshots dont give much damage. In legacy the damage values was perfect. 1 headshot + 1 bodyshot with the M4 = kill

Just check all of the active, competetive players statistics (the best players on servers like rustopia and whatnot), they all have fucking 10% headshots or something like that. It is a fucking joke really.

Why does noone else see this? Why does noone else spot all the flaws in the current game? It takes like 3 P250 headshots and a bodyshot to kill a facemask wearer @ 20m..
People easily tank 2 AK headshots and a bodyshot like its nothing... its so fucking retarded.
Stop crying for a while and learn to aim => best advice I can give you.
I'm able to shoot the 30 bullets pretty much at the same spot while crouching with the AK, just concentrate and improve your PVP skills !

If the game is so unfair why you still play ? Do your own survival game and we'll see if it's as good as rust xD

Also you are probably no match for me, but keep trying. The skill ceiling is lower in this game than it was in legacy anyway tho, you only need to spray now.

Most rust "pros" agree that headshots should be deadlier against facemasks tho. At least better than "2 Ak headshots dont kill a person".
