Hello guys, I was roaming on Rustafied PVPing having good time. 4 Of us suddenly crash all togheter, when i relog back into the game, I see rivers through entire map, If I am close enough to load it in.
FYI: It is not ALWAYS Pink, It changes color depending on time on server but in broad daylight its pink.
I tried to Reinstall, Verify Integrity of game cache, changed around my shader level ingame.
Any ideas ?

Hmm, looks like it is not the water. But the textures under it.
Verifiy the game files
i think that might be a missing texture

I did : Properties : Local Files : "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache"
I also reinstalled game.
Obviously missing textures, why reinstalling wouldn't help? Maybe your having GPU issues, but you say all your friends crashed too? You might have been DDOS'd you didn't piss anyone of did you?
I just had this happen after updating to the most recent patch on Thursday or Friday (today). The lines seem to be connected to riverbeds and verifying files and reinstalling do not help. I have two other friends who are reporting this as well after the patch.
FWIW, I am launching in DX9. My client will also C2D without error on server connection if i touch anything while the client is loading. My client is also still C2D without error on server disconnect.
Both C2D issues have existed since the patch 4 weeks ago but the pink line stuff is new with the most recent patch. They mentioned in the DevBlog that they were still working on water quality stuff so it might be related to that.
Anyone managed to find a workaround or fix yet?
Edit:
I just launched in DX10 and the pink lines are gone. Re-launch in DX9 and lines are back. Problem is directly related to launching in DX9. While this works to get rid of the pink lines, it means that my client will eventually start stuttering again, which is why i run in DX9 in the first place. Any suggestions on how to resolve this so i can go back to launching in DX9?
I still have it in DX10.
.
This issue was resolved on my client with the patch today. Thanks to FP for the quick fix
