No more day only servers :(

I with there were more day only servers. There used to be more, but now I cannot find any at all if I scan nearby servers.

Does anyone else wish there were 24/7 day servers? I just logout and wait for day - night is just a pain. I do see some advantages to having night. It is cool to have the changing light and sometimes to be in the dark, but any pluses are cancelled out by the 15 minutes of boredom over and over again.

Would you play on a day only server? I would.

I like the night, it gives a chance for people who know their area well to go out and raid at night.

My server has day set to 55 minutes and night at 5 minutes. In my opinion, permaday servers screw up your sense of direction since they are typically set to noon. Gotta have some sun movement.

The server I am on is daylight non stop.

In fact many of players change their gamma the night.... I take many HS @200m+
THAT ruins the game !

First, I want to formally offer my deepest apology for having ruined the game.

Note I did not say "every server should be day only". I just wished a few servers would have less night. Then people can choose the type of server they prefer.

Maybe it's a stupid question, but how do you tell North/South/East/West in the daytime?

The night isnt even that bad anymore, its my preferred exploration time, and always has been.

Also, natedog, the run rises in the east and sets in the west. i think you can figure it out from there.

Natedog might have meant, how do you tell the time if the sun is locked in place... well, hopefully the admin would have enough sense to lock it at 9am or 3pm or something rather than 12 noon, and tell you which it is so you can navigate by that.. You can always check for a /time command.
