Now then, I'm not sure if it has been brought up already, but I believe my base was raided by somebody placing a sleeping bag through my window and then F1 "kill" and then spawning inside my base. Not sure if this is a common thing or if it is a new and ingenious way of getting into your base. (I can't say for sure this is how I got raided, but there was no damage to my base, and there was scaffolding next to my window). I ran back and had the idea of trying it out, voila, worked.
Might be worth looking at? Anyone else had this issue?
It certainly is a creative way of ruining peoples day.
good to hear but you know this is an alpha.
if your day is ruined because you loose in a computer game than something went significantly wrong
I do know that it is in alpha and that is why I brought it up. The latter part was a joke.
I love the creativity behind it, and I think if I spawn as a naked, it will be something I probably do.
exp build or legacy? bagging is an old issue in legacy, but i'd be interested to know if it has been addressed in exp branch(should i call it main branch now?)

I tried this out to see if it would work and yep, anyone who puts a window on their base is vulnerable to this tactic.
Happened on Amsterdam server.

In an ideal world they'd be trapped in the base with no way to get out, but because you have to store keys in your base (If you die on the outside world and spawn back in your base, you need your spare keys to get out), they just take all your shit and do one.
I think it probably needs to be looked at, as the views from my base were rather fetching and I'd like to keep them!

honestly, you should be able to do things through a window....i'm still upset that I can't fit through them anymore, lol.
its a hole in a wall, shouldn't be some magic force field stopping things from going through it.

Even if there was no key inside there's nothing stopping someone from having a sleeping bag on the outside as well if they need to get out that way. You can get in, throw all the loot out the window, then respawn again outside.
Last couple times I tried playing experimental, I couldn't even spawn, so sorry for the dumb question:
Do they have metal bars yet for windows? If so, did the OP have them? If not, does anyone know if they are planned?

yes their planned and no their not in the game yet. Just dont build windows, if you do, make them high up out of reach and without any floor under or near them

True, but then again a window isn't really a hole in the wall is it? Usually something in place to stop it from being just a hole in the wall.
