I have tried everything that the forums suggest to do such as updating Easy Anti Cheat, I've added exceptions in internet security, nothing worked. I even uninstalled Rust and re-downloaded and installed and still I get disconnected from every server and taken back to the server list screen. Can only stay in game from 5 - 40 seconds. Anyone else having this issue, or anyone know how to fix it?
Are you using Bitdefender or Comodo?

Okay, reason I was asking is those two are known to cause problems with the Anticheat.

I'm not qualified to guide you, so from top of my head: Try disabling AVG, just for a test, and see how it works out.

I have absolutely no fire walls enabled and no anti virus programs enabled both on my PC or router. It is definitely a bug with EAC.
I disabled AVG and had the same problem, kicked out of the server after 5 seconds, and returned back to the server list screen. At first I was only having this issue with official servers, but now I can't get into community or modded either.
Could be a Server/Client version mismatch.
But I re-downloaded and re-installed the game a few hours ago. I tested legacy on one of the official server to see if had same issue, but that worked fine. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

I have the same exact problem. I can connect to official servers just fine, but I can't connect to any (tried dozens) community/modded legacy servers. It's really frustrating.
edit: I've also tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game, still nothing. New Rust works fine on all servers, this is just an issue with legacy community/modded servers.
